“Our Primary School Preparation program equips students with essential skills for lifelong learning, while fostering a nurturing environment where they can thrive and build confidence.”

PRIMARY SCHOOL PREPARATION (CRICOS 115264J)

The ECE primary school preparation syllabus is structured around the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and divided into seven distinct levels. Each level comes with a carefully designed curriculum tailored to meet the varying levels of English proficiency and other educational needs of students.

Before joining ECE, new students undergo an assessment to evaluate their current skills and identify specific areas where support is needed. Based on the results, students are placed in the appropriate class, with new intake opportunities available every Monday.

Our primary school preparation course runs in 10-week terms, with flexibility for students to join at any stage. All classes are conducted exclusively in English, focusing on developing both verbal and written skills, as well as key subjects like Maths, Science, and the humanities. Students enjoy the benefit of small, diverse classes, regular field trips, weekly sports afternoons, and facilities that reflect those of their future schools.

The program prepares students for entry into Australian primary schools, ensuring they gain the English language proficiency and cultural understanding necessary for active participation in school life in Australia.

To personalize the learning journey, we assess every student’s strengths and weaknesses before they start with ECE, enabling us to create a tailored study plan that addresses their specific needs.

ECE maintains small class sizes to ensure students receive the best possible support and interaction, promoting academic success.

By using English-only instruction, students rapidly improve their fluency and comprehension, progressing beyond English as a Foreign Language (EFL). The program also incorporates subject-specific content, helping students achieve a strong primary-level command of English.

Our teachers, who hold NESA accreditation and TESOL or CELTA certification, and have experience in Sydney’s top private schools, deliver a comprehensive program designed to help students meet and exceed the entry requirements of their future schools.
